One person joins
Each request has exactly one companion place. A signed-in person can review the public details and confirm that they want to join. The first eligible confirmation wins the place, and the database closes the request immediately so a second person cannot join at the same time.
Contact is unlocked
After the match is confirmed, the creator and companion can privately retrieve each other’s saved mobile number. Nobody else receives those numbers, and they are never included in the public timeline or public page source.
Meet in public
Use the private number only to confirm the venue, time, and any practical details. ShareMyFood does not make restaurant reservations or verify identities, so both people remain responsible for arranging their visit and following the safety guidance before meeting.
